Joshua Daniel Flagg (born August 20, 1985) is an American real estate agent, writer and personality as a member of the original cast on Los Angeles Million Dollar show on Bravo Television Network. The event follows a young real estate agent in Los Angeles when they sell luxury homes. He has been with Rodeo Realty Beverly Hills since 2012.
Flagg has written two books, A Simple Girl: Stories My Grand Told Me, published in 2009, and Million Dollar Agent: Brokering the Dream published in 2011. Flagg is appeared in Forbes' 30 Under 30 in 2012 as a real estate agent who broke the record. Early life and education
Josh Flagg was born on August 20, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. He is the son of Michael and Cindy (Platt) Flagg of Los Angeles. He is the grandson of philanthropists, electronics industry executives and Jewish leader Herman Platt and great-grandson of Benjamin Platt, founder and owner of the chain of Platt Music stores across the country. On the side of his father, Flagg is the grandson of the American fashion industry executive (Romanian-born) and designer Edith Flagg, best known as one of the first designers to import polyester as fashion textiles to the United States. He was later known for his reoccurring role on the Los Angeles Million Dollar List with his grandson.
Flagg grew up in Los Angeles, where he studied at Brentwood School, a private school in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. In 2003, Flagg left Brentwood, and attended Beverly Hills High School, where he graduated the following year.

Flagg began working as a real estate agent at the age of 18, when he started selling residential housing in upscale neighborhoods like Beverly Hills and Sunset Strip. Flagg began his career while in high school under real estate broker Bruce Nelson with company John Bruce Nelson at Bel Air, followed by a brief assignment at Coldwell Banker's Beverly Hills East office in 2007.
Throughout his career as a real estate agent, Flagg has had many sales records, including the highest sales in Brentwood Park history and $ 25 million worth of housing sales in Beverly Hills. He has also been a registrant for leading estates including Merv Griffin's Bel Air estate and Dorothy Chandler Estate in Hancock Park. In 2006, Flagg, along with two other agents, Madison Hildebrand and Chad Rogers, were selected to star in reality TV series after their careers in the real estate industry. They began filming for the Los Angeles Million Dollar show, and premiered on Bravo in August 2006. The show continued with original cast until Season 4 when Josh Altman co-starred along with Flagg and Hildebrand.
After Season 6 ends in 2013, Hildebrand leaves the show, making Flagg the only original cast member left. Flagg and Altman join James Harris and David Parnes for Season 7. This series airs the 10th Season in 2017, with Flagg, Harris, Hilderbrand and Parnes back and Tracy Maltas broker joining his players.

At the age of 14, Flagg began writing a book about his grandmother, Edith Flagg. As his only grandson, Flagg is close to his grandmother, who was the victim of the Holocaust and then a fashion industry executive. Personal life
Flagg is openly gay, after leaving in March 2011. Flagg lives in Los Angeles, California, and in January 2013, he buys a small estate on the Sunset Strip from author/producer Jeffrey Katzenberg, David Katzenberg. He sold the property in 2015 to Nicolas Pakzad, the son of designer Bijan Pakzad. In June 2015, Flagg purchased award-winning producer Tony Michael Filerman. The estate is located a few doors away from Paul Mcartney's house he bought from Courtney Love, and is located on a street filled with past and present celebrity owners like Don Johnson, Prince and Ozzy Osbourne.
