Plot
The film is centered around a young woman named Amy Tyler, who book a surprise holiday to Europe with her boyfriend, Josh Merit. However, they are separated before they can continue their journey; Therefore, he advertises his tickets online to find another man with a name identical to his ex-boyfriend to go on tour instead. The story, though written in 2012, has similarities to the 2014 case of a 28-year-old man in Toronto named Jordan Axani, who offered free tickets to Reddit a girl named Elizabeth Gallagher, when he broke up with his girlfriend of the same name. Although the ticket has no strict transfer policy, since passport information is not required when booking, it can be used by anyone with the same name.
When a BuzzFeed article about the story becomes viral, the script is given a "new life". Brendan Bradley said that "I wrote this script five years ago," Bradley said, "and everyone told me... 'This will never happen! It's too unrealistic!' And the project does not have any appeal because everyone thinks the premise is too crazy, then it happens in real life. "

Despite having little production money in and of themselves, Bradley and the film crew work with Turkish tourism companies such as Turkish Airlines, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the VIP Tourism Agency, and work with Land Rover. These companies partially finance travel, in exchange for displaying airlines, hotels and attractions in the film. Brendan said he got the idea after reading Blockbusters by Anita Elberse, which explains why it is difficult for new filmmakers to enter the industry.
It has been seen as a tactical move by Turkish Airlines to encourage millennium tourism. Sponsors Head at the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism Irfan Onal said: "Digital and social media are the realities of the world today, we invest in them a lot because this is the best way to create relations between Turkey as a destination and an individual." Ashley said, "You watch Under the Tuscan Sun and you think, 'I have to go to Tuscany! Very pretty!'... [In the movie,] we can show off [Turkey] in a way that will get you going, 'Wow, Turkey is very beautiful and I do not know!' That's a lot of experience we went there. This is a country that is really in the epicenter of so much history. "
