Mickey Conlon is a real estate broker, television personality, and former American Broadway producer. He is a broker at Douglas Elliman, the largest real estate broker in the New York Metropolitan area and the fourth largest real estate company in the United States. Early life and education

Conlon grew up in Saint James, Long Island and graduated from Smithtown High School in 1994. As a freshman at Duke University, he obtained a real estate license at the age of 18. When he was going back to Long Island during the school holidays, he sold the house to a boutique real estate firm specializing in historic properties. Conlon also pursued musical theater during his time at school, directing and starring in several productions with Hoof 'n' Horn, the musical theater group Duke University. He worked for British producer Cameron Mackintosh while studying abroad in London and in New York. He graduated from Duke in 1998 and started pursuing a career as a producer on Broadway.

Careers

Conlon started his career on Broadway and his production received several Tony Award nominations. His latest production is the Broadway 2010 show All About Me starring Michael Feinstein and Dame Edna. Though famous for his work in luxury real estate and on Broadway, Conlon has expressed interest in vintage cars, The Great American Songbook, and the life and work of playwright and composer NoÃÆ'Â Â «Coward and Gilded Age Architect Stanford White. A regular fixture of the New York social scene, he has appeared regularly on Page Six, the New York Social Diary, and in the national syndication column of Cindy Adams, and has been associated with a wide variety of celebrities from the worlds of music, movies, television and Broadway. Conlon and Tom Postilio are partners in business and life.
