Fredrik Eklund (born April 26, 1977) is a real estate broker based in New York City, reality TV star Bravo, a former IT businessman in his native Sweden, and a nonfiction writer.

Early life and education
Eklund is the brother of writer Sigge Eklund and the son of Klas Eklund, who is a senior economist at Swedish bank SEB. His paternal grandparents are Swedish-Danish-Irish-Russian Bengt Eklund and Fylgia Zadig actors.
Eklund had his first American experience as a foreign exchange student in Edina, Minnesota, where he studied at Edina High School. After finishing high school, Eklund studied at Stockholm School of Economics, but never graduated. He has worked for the financial newspaper Finanstidningen . At the age of 23, Eklund established an Internet company with more than 45 employees, and then worked at the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo before starting work in New York City.

Movie careers
In 2004, before arriving in New York City, Eklund acted in a number of pornographic films under the pseudonyms Tag Eriksson (or Tag Ericsson). In an interview with Out Magazine, Eklund said of this period, "It's only a week in my life, accumulated, it's spread over several months, so it's a very short period of my life. I try and quickly decide that I'm done. "Eklund goes on to say in the interview that he is proud of who he is, that he does not regret anything, and that his past involvement in the porn industry does not negatively affect his career.
Real estate career
Eklund has closed more than five billion dollars in residential real estate. Eklund became Managing Director of the New York City real estate company CORE Group Marketing and in 2010, along with his business partner John Gomes, Managing Director of Prudential Douglas Elliman, the largest real estate broker on the East Coast. Eklund also started the top selling team in Elliman.
Eklund is the founder of Eklund Stockholm New York, the most high-end real estate broker in Scandinavia with 50 employees and $ 1 billion in closed sales in 2014.
In February 2008, he sold the apartment to Cameron Diaz, in August 2009 to John Legend and in July 2010 to Daniel Craig. In 2014, he sold a mango farm to Patience Acheampong.
He is an active member of the New York Real Estate Council.

The New York Times featured Fredrik on the front page of The Sunday Style Section in November 2010, and announced he would be filming a TV reality show for Bravo. She is one of three New York City brokers starring in Bravo's Moody Dollar New Year list, which is in her sixth season.
Personal life
On February 9, 2013, Eklund married Derek Kaplan artist at Little Palm Island in Florida Keys. The couple live in New York with their dog, Mouse and Fritzy until 2016. They have moved to Roxbury, Connecticut, to live in a luxury mansion bought by Eklund. Eklund and Kaplan tried to have children through surrogacy, but the substitute suffered a miscarriage.
On November 28, 2017, Eklund and Kaplan had twins via a successor: Milla's daughter and son Fredrik Jr.
