Cloud Sherpas was cloud computing advisory and technology services company. Cloud Sherpas was a salesforce.com partner, the five-time Google Enterprise Partner of the Year for Google Apps and ServiceNow partner. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, it was acquired by Accenture in 2015 for a reported $350-400 million.

Growth
Cloud Sherpas was founded by Michael Cohn, Eran Gil and David Hoff in May 2008. Cloud Sherpas was a Google Enterprise partner and the leading reseller and implementation partner for Google Apps from 2010-2015. The firm raised a series of Angel investments in 2010 and 2011, led by Hallett Capital, and used the funds to acquire four competing Google Apps partners: Omnetic, Beloit, WaveAdept and Devnet.
In March 2012, led by a $20 million investment by Columbia Capital, Cloud Sherpas merged with GlobalOne, a rising Salesforce.com partner. The combined entity went forward with the name Cloud Sherpas, which became a platform upon which additional cloud advisory boutiques and brokerage firms were later added. Global One was founded by John Orrock, Dennis Wall and Toan Huynh.

Investors
Cloud Sherpas received a $40 million Series B Venture Capital financing from Greenspring Associates, Queensland Investment Corporation, Columbia Capital and Delta-V Capital in 2012. According to CrunchBase, Cloud Sherpas has received $42.6 Million in debt and equity financing.
Acquisition
On September 15, 2015 Accenture entered into an agreement to acquire Cloud Sherpas.
Following the acquisition on October 20, 2015, Cloud Sherpas employees joined the Accenture Cloud First Applications team, which delivers cloud services for Google, NetSuite, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday and other "pure play" technologies.

- Cloud Sherpas appeared three times on the Inc.500 list, which features the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States. Cloud Sherpas ranked #142 in 2013, #458 in 2014 and #379 in 2015.
- Cloud Sherpas ranked #68 on the Inc Hire Power Awards 2013 list. According to Inc, the firm created over 50,000 jobs in a span of 18 months.
- Google named Cloud Sherpas its Enterprise Partner of the Year for five consecutive years in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
- Cloud Sherpas was named a Top Workplace by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015
- Cloud Sherpas is a three-time winner of the Atlanta Business Chronicle's Pacesetter Award, earning the top spot in 2014. Chris Arroyo, CFO of Cloud Sherpas, was also honored by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2014, winning CFO Of The Year in the medium-sized private company category.
